Friday night movie
Apr. 17th, 2004 01:16 amI suppose it's pretty dull of me to post so often about movies, but I can't help it. I like 'em.
Went to see Kill Bill Vol. 2 tonight (although I haven't seen Vol. 1), and I enjoyed it thoroughly. This in spite of the fact that it featured not one, not two, but THREE of my biggest fears-bordering-on-phobias, presented in that visceral way that Quentin Tarantino does well. I suppose squirming and twitching and shivering involuntarily in your seat enhances the moviegoing experience.
In order to fill out the story and to quench my current bloodthirstiness, I think we may buy Vol. 1 at Blockbuster tomorrow. Not surprisingly, there aren't any copies available to rent, and there probably won't be until at least mid-week. I'm not sure I can wait that long for delicious, delicious violence.
Thank god Quentin himself didn't decide to do any acting in this one. He causes me terrible aches and pains every time he does a guest spot on Alias.
