Dull week, interesting movie

For those of you on my friends list who enjoyed Memento (you know who you are [at least, I hope you do, because I don't]), consider plunking down your $4.50 (matinee) for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Very interesting movie, and I enjoyed it a great deal. It's an experience similar to reading good science-fiction -- starting off with the pleasant, tingly sensation of not knowing what the hell is going on, but enjoying it; then gradually coming to the "aha!" moment when things start falling into place and you realize that OH MY GOD IT WAS EARTH ALL ALONG!!!!!!
I like the theme of memory, and I enjoy movies that play with and with nonsequential storytelling, so this one goes on my mental happy shelf alongside Memento. (Actually, it's a little higher on the shelf, because it's considerably more cheerful.)
"Dr. Zaius, Dr. Zaius...Dr. Zaius, Dr. Zaius! Oooooooooooh Dr. Zaius! Help me, Dr. Zaius!"
