Playing with icons
Apr. 29th, 2004 10:36 pmI've been playing around with icon-making in my frustrating little free copy of Photoshop 5.0 LE (Laaaaaaaame Edition, am I right folks? the ladies know what I'm talking about) which has the most irritating text tool I've ever encountered in a graphics program. Text placement is sort of a crapshoot.
Anyway...I'm making this post entirely to debut the least ugly result of my mad experimentations. As you can see, I didn't go for anything especially elaborate. Getting the text to work was trial enough. Now I may play around a bit with backgrounds, and eventually learn how to get something other than pixel fonts to show up sharply on an icon-sized image. But for now...fluffbunny!

(Edited 5/6: Sorry the icon's gone, I've taken it down to replace it with another. I'll add it to the entry itself once I figure out why I can't access my web space.)
(Edited again 5/6: Okay, managed it!)
