Fun with Zombies

Just got back from Shaun of the Dead, which is exceedingly funny and rather scary, to boot. "Rather scary" to the ordinary sort of person, that is; for me, with my extreme and illogical terror of the whole zombie notion, it's guaranteed nightmare fuel. I spent the entire drive home peering into the half-darkness just in front of the headlights, searching for shambling figures at the edge of the road. No corpses, fortunately, but I did see a little opossum feeding in a ditch. I generally dislike opossums, but I must admit this one was very cute.

In any case, the movie comes VERY highly recommended. A good time was had by all. Just beware if, like me, you found 28 Days Later to be a surprisingly accurate movie version of your own recurring nightmares.

oy, I can't recommend it at all ;)  thought it was absolutely terrible....
on the other hand, I thought dawn of the dead was freaking hilarious :>
