Apr. 29th, 2006 10:42 pmOh dear. I'm afraid I really, really love Doctor Who.
Between the US airing of "Father's Day" on Friday and the current season's "School Reunion" (which I have had magically beamed into my brain, of course, what else could it be?), I don't think I could be any more pleased or happy with this show. Father's Day was interesting, creepy sci-fi that managed, in spite of my best efforts to resist, to make me feel touched and teary eyed. And School Reunion was just incredibly good fun, and I may never have seen a whole episode with Sarah Jane, but I know who she is and I've seen the end of her last episode. School Reunion handled her story just wonderfully. And did I mention it was fun? Because I usually refrain from hopping up from my seat while watching TV shows (well, except for Veronica Mars), but I counted at least three times during this episode. There may also have been some squealing. It's best that I watch these new episodes alone -- Doug's refraining at least until the last season's done airing in the US, because he has considerably more patience than I. He's also sane.
Dammit. I was already well over 90% dork, and now I'm a Doctor Who fan. Next thing you know, I'll be kidnapping Peter Davison.
