You are introverted, reserved, and quiet with a preference for solitude and solitary activities. Your socializing tends to be restricted to a few close friends. You can be very easily upset, even by what most people consider the normal demands of living. People consider you to be extremely sensitive and emotional. Novelty, variety, and change spice up your life and make you a curious, imaginative, and creative person. People see you as tough, critical, and uncompromising and you have less concern with others' needs than with your own. You are reasonably reliable, organized, and self-controlled.

I had no idea I was so neurotic. Huh.

In the department of slightly more original news, we finally bought living room and bedroom furniture! Finally, we can toss out the old NY sofa and have room for more than 3 people to sit in the living room. And it's going to be very nice to have a dresser of a decent size. Of course, the bedroom stuff won't turn up for 3-4 weeks, and the living room stuff is in limbo while they soup up Doug's recliner (which I plan on stealing whenever the opportunity presents itself) and figure out when they have our sofa in stock. But the part that was taking so long, the picking-it-out part, is finally over, so I'm feeling pretty pleased. I just hope the cat and/or dog doesn't chew it up.

*chuckles* Back when she was a puppy, Tali decided that a leg on the dining room chair that Dennis uses was a great chew toy. She really did a number on it. Someday I suppose we ought to replace it. But, since our table can comfortably seat 12 when we put both leaves in, I just hate to. Hmmm....maybe I'll just find new chairs?

Anyway..we want pictures! :)I LOVE buying new furniture! We're working on our library now. Can't decide if I want to buy shelves or if it would be smarter to build them as I want them floor to ceiling. The tough part is, we're making over one of the bedrooms (Jen's old room) so we really don't want to make it a *permanent* change as that may affect things when we go to sell the house somewhere down the road. Eh...decisions....decisions....

Yeah, we're worried because Indy chewed the corners off of our current sofa shortly after we brought him home. He hasn't shown any interest in the couch since then, but since the new one will be leather (in hopes of making it easier to keep clear of all of that fur they put out!), we're a bit worried. And there's the cat, too -- he loves eating leather watch bands. We'll be keeping our fingers crossed and trying to make sure Indy has plenty of other things to chew on once the new living room set arrives. As for the cat -- we'll just have to hope!

A table that seats 12 would be great -- I don't even think we have a room in our house large enough for that! Maybe instead of replacing them all, you could bring in a couple of new, complementary chairs and go for the eclectic look. :)

Here are the bed (but we're going to use the short posts instead of the tall ones shown) and the dresser from the set we're getting. And the couch from the living room set looks more like a tempting pet chew every time I look at it. ;)

I love the idea of having a library! Maybe you could set up some kind of modular system for the shelves, so there wouldn't be that much to take apart when it's time to sell? (A library room would not be a negative selling point to me, though...Mm!)

I love the bedroom furniture. Thomasville makes such nice stuff. I have several tables from their oak and glass line. :)

And that sofa looks so comfy. We've looked at leather... for the same reason you guys did. All that fur. I'm awfully tempted to use leather to recover the couch we're going to use in the library. Hmmmm....ideas....:)

For your pup and kitty, try Greenies! Our pups will do ANYTHING for a Greenie treat! ;)

Hehe..when we have all the leaves in, the table just barely fits in the dining room. I've

actually taken to using two tables when everyone is here. For this past Sunday's dinner, we put one in the library. *G* Which at the moment has gorgeous brand new carpet, a strip of the wallpaper I've chosen tacked to the wall and a lot of *stuff* tucked in corners. I'm holding off finishing it because I want to use it to put all of our bedroom stuff in while I FINALLY get that room done. It took me forever to find a wallpaper and border I liked. Now we just need to have time to move everything so I can get started.

We have a lot of projects that need finishing around here. Guess it's good that Fall is coming and we *have* to stop with the outdoor stuff. :)
