Thanks. :) (I think dolphins just have a natural advantage in the cuteness department.)

I've struggled with it quite a bit; it was especially bad when I tried learning on my own with books and some online videos. It wasn't until I took a class and had someone to tell me what I was doing wrong (and how to fix it) that I got anywhere.

As fond as I am of him, I'm inclined to agree. He reminds me a little of the evil, Orson Welles-esque dolphin from The Tick cartoon. I love him all the more for that.

Awwww...that's adorable! Wish you were closer..I'd have you teach me. Knitting is something I've always wanted to learn but just never got around to.

Thank you! It is too bad, because I think it would be fun to try to teach someone. :) I tried learning on my own and got nowhere -- it's really necessary to find someone to show you what's wrong and help you work through how to fix it. So far it appears that 90% of the difficulty of knitting is fixing mistakes. ;)

There you go! If you get tired of editing you can go into teaching knitting. *G* I suspect it would be much less stressful. Although, granted, the pay would also be a lot less. :)
