Family Reunion
Sep. 24th, 2003 10:13 pmI seem to have fallen behind quite a bit in my journaling...oh well, there hasn't been much to discuss till now. This past weekend (starting last Wednesday, actually, so more like half-week) Doug and I went to his family reunion in Atlanta. A fun time was had by all. :) I got to see some of his relatives that I haven't seen since two years ago at his brother TJ's wedding, and they're all very friendly and a lot of fun. TJ couldn't make it, but Doug's other brother Pat and his sister Michelle were there, along with their families. They're all fun to spend time with, and Michelle's (and her husband Joe's) three-year-old son is a very cute, smart kid (even if he did make us sit through the Teletubbies). Pat's kids are teenagers, and surprisingly -- amazingly -- enough, they're pleasant to be around. The girl is so much like my little sister when she was in high school -- same freckles and sense of humor. ;)
Hmm...did I mention I had fun? I'm having a hard time coming up with more to say about it, because I'm just not very good at rehashing events. Guess that makes me a bad journaler (probably not a real word...).

Date: 2003-09-25 02:49 am (UTC)Livejournal is a feast or famine deal for me. i've got weeks where I post 8 things a day, then I'll go a month before posting again.
Sounds like you guys had fun in Atlanta. If you had gone just a few days earlier you probably could have caught Ricky, he was out there seeing Les Mis I believe.
Hope to see you guys soon :)
